Stephen Fries is a professor of hospitality management and a food columnist, so he has a unique behind-the-scenes perspective when it comes to New Haven’s culinary scene. That makes him the perfect guide for the New Haven Downtown Culinary Tour, a walking tour dedicated to the best bites in the city.
Sign up for Fries’ next installment of the walking tour on Saturday, September 17th to snack your way through downtown New Haven. Over the course of the four-hour walking tour, you’ll travel about 1.5 miles and make pit stops at seven or eight different notable kitchens. Each eatery will have a special nosh for you to try as your guide tells you a little bit about the restaurant and its cuisine. You might even get a chance to chat with a few of the chefs if you’re lucky! If you have any food allergies, let Stephen know in advance so the appropriate accommodations can be made. Tickets are $69 per person and include a bite to eat at each of the stops.
