You probably know Colleen Ballinger as her internet-famous alter-ego, Miranda Sings. She first rose to stardom on YouTube where her quirky (and intentionally grating) character has drawn more than four billion people over the years. In fact, she boasts more than 50 million followers across all social media platforms—and her zany brand of comedy comes to the stage in Miranda Sings Live.
It’s a mix of stand-up and Broadway, which caters pretty well to her strengths given her impressive resume. In 2019, she starred in Broadway’s Waitress, showing off her pipes as a trained vocalist. Over the years, she’s appeared in everything from standup specials to Ralph Breaks the Internet, to her own Netflix show, Haters Back Off. Miranda Sings will alternate sets with acclaimed actress Colleen Ballinger as the dynamic duo vacillates between standup (Colleen) and over-the-top song and dance numbers (Miranda). Tickets to the show start at $40 and seating is reservation-only at the College Street Music Hall on Friday, August 19th. So grab your tickets and grab a seat as early as 6:30 p.m. (when doors open) to settle in for the show.
