The New England Taco Festival brings south-of-the-border to you at the Guilford Fairgrounds. More than 20 of the region’s top taco trucks will park in its open space, serving up their unique takes on tacos all day long on Saturday, July 30th, and Sunday, July 31st. Whether you come with a group of Cerveza-loving friends or have the kids in tow, you’re bound to have a fun and delicious time.
Start by taste-testing as many tacos as you can take from the various vendors. They’ll be dishing out everything from classic carnitas and carne asada tacos to modern, elevated dishes that you’d never expect. The Mexican cuisine pairs perfectly with a margarita, a Mexican beer, or a tequila flight. If you have little ones along, you can always go for a jarrito instead and head for the children’s area. The youngsters will have fun jumping around in the bounce houses and riding on donkeys. They can also check out carnival games, have their faces painted, and let a caricature artist capture their essence in a goofy way.
