Blog Image Blog Image

If you or your kids are animal lovers, pencil in a visit to Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport! This local zoo is a favorite among locals and tourists looking to get to know Earth’s beautiful creatures on a more personal basis. The zoo has been around for nearly 100 years and is the only zoo in Connecticut, which makes it a super special place to visit. Their dedication to saving endangered species, preserving habitats, and wildlife education is unparalleled in the area, so you can feel good about your visit.

The zoo is home to a variety of species of all shapes and sizes. From small bullfrogs to large scaly alligators, barn owls to bald eagles, spider monkeys to wolves, deer to leopards—there are so many new friends to meet. Right now, you must pre-purchase your ticket to help with social distancing, so be sure to do that before so no one is disappointed!
